12 ounce bottle into a tulip glass.
Pours a medium amber, a little cloudy, with a two finger head, foamy ring throughout. Nice looking beer. Smell is citrus hops- a strong orange aroma, malt, some floral hops, some spiciness. Almost has a sweet aroma as it warms. Taste leans a little more towards the malt, still a solid citrus/orange presence, a bit more of the floral hops than the nose, some caramel. Lots of flavor, really not bitter at all. Smooth, well carbonated, good body for the style.
This is very nice, good flavor, enjoyable to drink. My first harvest ale, so I have no idea how it stacks up to others. But, stand alone, it's worth trying.

Picked up at the brewery shortly after the release. The bottle date is 10/2/15 and I'm pouring into my Greenbush tulip glass.
Look- Pours a hazy and deep amber color with a generous amount of soapy off white foam.
Smell- Sweet malt, spice and perfume.
Taste- Malt forward with a sweet floral/perfume flavor. A tiny bit of hop bite and spice in the end.
Feel- Slick and very creamy.
Overall- It lacks the grassy and dank complexity I enjoy from fresh/wet hop beers. This one is malt forward and it drowns out any of the hop characteristics I enjoy. I'll stick to the better examples in my opinion, such as Founders Harvest and Sixpoint Sensi Harvest.
