From the bottle at the restaurant/petting zoo, Hoeve Paepehof that has an impressive ale list (better than the food.)
Paljas did not plumb out the foam I was expecting, possibly a bit too mature or a lazy yeast; only average for this foamy style. Smells were mostly fruit, like peaches and apples. Tastes were balanced, but also not particularly interesting. Not quite medium-mouthed. Again, it might be the yeast.
However I do give very good Overall Hugs to De Leite. They finished their second decade and were planned in the previous century. They have been active in barrel-aging Wilds and other Belgian bacteria. And they just bought a brand, Teitje, that supports women's cancer research.

Cerveza de color dorado con una leve espuma de poca duración. Cuerpo medio y carbonatación media/alta. Aroma a malta y miel. Sabor dulce con un final seco algo especiado.

A: Golden, hazy, decent sized thick head which hung around for quite a while, left quite a bit of lacing.
S: Phenols and yeast.
T: Yeast, phenols and some tangerine.
M: Decent amount of carbonation, medium to heavy body.
O: Combined subtlety with depth, tasted stronger than the abv, one to recommend.

Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Amber pond-water, ir quite hazy. Pours with 2mm off-white head. ps 10mins later, holds well.
S- Very mild, just the tiniest hint of a citrus or similar note.
T- Crisp and dry. It's also very 'lemonade-y'. Furthermore, the CO2 is prominent enough to give the taste a soda-water aspect to it. All in, not good for my tastes.
F- Light, thin, dry, low malts such that they're hard to ID, well carbonated, perhaps even too much in the mix.
O- The ABV% is invisible to me, a victim of the over-prominent hops and CO2, it also lacks positive Feel for the same reason. What a disappointing beer. Not one I'd wish to drink again.
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the bottle lables to see what I missed! ---> Wow, Belgian. Top-fermented.
330ml bottle BB: 11/03/2022 £2.24 Bought from BeersOfEurope/King's Lynn as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a medium top of white head that dissolves quickly. Aroma is of sweet malts, bread, green and red apples, honey, spices and floral hops.
The taste is sweet and fruity at first with notes of malts and caramel in the back. It then gets more bitter with good notes of spices before finishing off medium dry with notes of floral and grassy hops. Decent lenght in the aftertaste as well. Mouthfeel is soft and crisp with a moderate carbonation and a medium body.
A good blonde ale, but far from the best I had.

Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is sweet and yeasty. Yeast profile is quite spicy and a bit grassy. Taste starts with some sweetness but continues more balanced and the finish is quite dry with a light bitterness on the aftertaste. Light bodied but quite smooth feeling. Overall it's a good belgian ale with a nice spicy and floral taste.
