Low alcohol brews keep getting better and better... especially those Belgians. Must be the yeast. I wish I could compare this Tietje to the Tietje @ 7.5 ABV. But the .4 ABV is good enough to enjoy.
Pours a pretty head that stays active to the bottom of the glass. Since the No-Lo yeasts are considered lazy, they do kick out less aromatic fruits; but Tietje No-Lo is still above the style's average. Tastes are balanced throughout as the hops don't get pushy and even offer a gentle linger in the finish. Better than Medium-mouthed for a sometimes lazy style.
For partnering with a women's cancer support group and for generally being an innovative micro with a clear Belgian character, De Leite gets very good Overall Hugs from me. I've now reviewed five from them. Op wu Gezondheid !
