Pours a murky orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small patches of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Tiny chunks of sediment are seen floating around in the beer after the pour. Smell is of wheat, biscuit, and strawberry jam aromas. Taste is much the same with strawberry jam and biscuit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a nice realistic strawberry jam quality all around.

I didn't intend to review this, so I don't have full notes, but it turned out to be delicious, so I thought I'd write something quick. It's super-drinkable, but it could easily be a special Strawberry version of Welch's Grape Soda—at least, it's closer to that than to something like Wieckse Witte. I might grab another couple of these, but I'll do so with a tinge of shame.
