Light and lemony. There is an inviting grainy note at first taste, but it soon is submerged in the bitterness. Honey and herb tea in the nose. Light body with modest spritziness. Powerful hop flavor, but it seems more earthy and not the clean fruitiness I like in other Mosaic brews.

Overall this is pretty bitter and ends with a woody, dank taste. I don't find it particularly pleasant. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at the wild and crazy Mega Liquor in Hemet, Calif.

Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a film on top of the beer. A foamy lattice of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, earth, berry, citrus fruit, and slight tropical fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with earth, citrus zest, and slight tropical fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.

The review is for the beer relative to the style. Its a 5% single hop session IPA. Its a golden/pale color with good head and retention. It smells amazing. Pure, fresh, tropical fruits, some citrus, pine, herbal/grass. It tastes as it smells only much less pronounced. The pale malts come through as well. The point of the beer is to showcase Mosaic and this beer does just that. Overall? Its a light, simple, easy drinking session beer.
