Like what the other review says, except I would says there's no herbal hop flavor but pine. Good citrus flavors, nicely balanced. Overall pleased and would drink again if I can find it. It was on tap at the Four Points by Sheraton @ the Ventura Harbour.

A very good IPA. Hop bitterness shines, but no complex flavor.

Poured on tap a clear gold under a huge foamy white head which leaves semi-rings of lace. Aroma is grainy malts, orange citrus. Flavors of citrusy grapefruit pith, pine, cedar spice. Medium body and full carbonation. Finishes sticky, biscuit malty, and resiny.

Well hopped, tasty IPA. Overall very solid. In my opinion, best in the Reno/Tahoe area.

Pours a murky dark orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Tiny chunks of sediment are seen floating around in the beer after the pour. Smell is of citrus zest, tropical fruit, and slight herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and tropical fruit flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a nice balance between citrus zest and tropical fruit characteristics all around.
