Pours a murky orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, earth, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with earth, pine needle, and citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a hop profile that leans a bit more towards earth and pine qualities to me.
