Pours a copper Amber color with a two finger lightly tanned head. Aromas and flavors are caramel malt sweetness, clean bread, hay, and a hint of earthy-piney hops keeps the sweetness from going overboard. Creamy medium body. Overall a nice beer.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance- The beer is served a lightly hazed dark golden amber color with a one finger head of creamy white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a good sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell- The aroma of the beer is big of a caramel smell mixed with a nice bready aroma. Along with these smells comes some lightly toasted malt and molasses aromas as well.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweet malty flavor which continues throughout the profile. The malty is of a more lightly toasted bready nature while the sweet is predominantly caramel in flavor. Toward the middle a light earthy and pine hop come to the tongue, but these are light in comparison to the sweet. At the very end a hint of hay, yeast and wheat come to the taste, leaving one with a sweet and lightly toasted flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the brew is a bit on the thicker side for an amber with a carbonation level that is average. For the sweet and bready tastes of the brew the feel is actually quite well done as it accentuates the flavors rather nicely.
Overall- Not really my favorite, but not a bad amber overall. If you are someone that like ambers more on the sweeter and malty side, with only minimal hop balance, then this may be for you.
