Bottled 2/29/16.
Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Tiny particles of sediment are seen suspended in the beer after the pour. Smell is of lemon juice, candied lemon peel, lemon soda, and earthy hop aromas. Taste is much the same with lemon juice, candied lemon peel, pine needle, and earthy flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with great lemon and pine forward hop qualities all around.
Serving type: bottle.

Mildly cloudy amber with a way tall nearly tan but really off-white colored head.
Smells of pine and scorched sugar. Faint lemon candy yes, but really it smells more like just normal IPA.
Starts out tasting of pale ale. Yes it is a little sweeter but not by much. Pine and wood and a little lemon, but pretty normal.
Mouthfeel is OK.
Overall normal but.....boring.
