This light pale lager is a throw-back to how beer was brewed in America over 100 years ago. Crisp, brilliant and refreshing with a delicate malt body and a snappy hop finish, Nano keeps you dominating all day.

Freshest by ??/10/21, so who the hell knows. Actually, only half of the word "freshest" even made it to the bottom of the can. Very sloppy stamp job. It doesn't make me want to throw the beer away or anything, but still...
Very clear pale straw color with minimal, rapidly vanishing head. Not the most impressive pour, but it does look the part of a 4.3% lager. A bit of head swells back up if you swirl it around a bit. Smells, you know, grainy with mild malt and hop additions. Very light. Getting light AAL vibes all around thus far. Tastes much better than the nose lets on. Much more malt-heavy than you would expect a beer of this ABV to be with a pleasantly bitter hop bite. Sweet (tasting something like honey, myself), but not overly so. Mouthfeel is exactly as this style should be... insert words like "crisp", "snappy" and "refreshing". I like this. I'm not, like, bowled over by it, but it's a very competently made lager and definitely something to reach for in the hot-ass Summer months.

From a can.
Pours light, with a bit of haze. A small amount of head and lace. Smells like a lager, without anything out of the ordinary to note.
At first it doesn't taste like much, but as it goes I picked up the malt/cereal taste I usually get from craft lagers. A little lingering bitterness in the finish. Very crisp, light, and refreshing (although maybe not as much when it's 10C and foggy out, like it is as I write this).
A really solid craft lager, overall, though I'd definitely call it a summer lager -- it's a little bit light for my personal lager taste.

Can freshest by 10/31/19. Pilsner glass.
A: pours a super pale crisp straw yellow with three plus fingers of foamy white head that linger. Beautiful streaming rows of carbonation. Head lasts and lasts, and forms rings of lacing as I drink it down.
S: fresh lager yeast, some very mild noble hoppiness. Crisp malt. Simple but fresh.
T: arrives as mild, crisp, and frankly flavorless as can be. Across the mid palate some moderate crisp malt rounds things out, and then there is a surprising little snap of green noble hop at the end.
M: absolute refreshment. Super high attenuation very high but not excessive carbonation, crisp finish.
O: so the beer is pretty near flavorless on arrival, but toward the end shows off some characteristics that are as best as the best German helles lagers I’ve had. This is the brewer taking a somewhat pedestrian style, and just killing it. Set aside taste - it is really hard to brew beer that feels like this. It is also hard to brew a 4% ABV fizzy yellow beer with no off flavors and they have done that here. I would love to compare this side by side with Rhinegeist’s Cheetah and Bud Light. Reminds me of New Glarus Totally Naked. I think I would like this most. Perfect execution of the style, would heartily endorse buying 6.

12oz can best by 6/22/19 poured into a pils glass
A: Pale yellow with a 1+ finger head
S: Sweet malt/fresh bread, light hops
T: The malt is drier, also fresh bread, light herbal notes and light hop bitterness
M: Light-bodied, crisp
O: Refreshing, tasty, more going on than many lagers but not too much. Definitely will be enjoying more this summer

Nano OG Lager | Market Garden Brewery. Poured from the bottle into a pint glass, this rocks a three finger thick head, webbed lacing, and a medium-light golden body.
I smell brighter malts with lighter, zesty hops.
Tastes like light dough malts, grassy grains, and, again, light hops. Very crisp and clean finish.
Medium-light mouthfeel with mild carbonation.

12 ounce can into lager glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a small fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread, dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt/corn and moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread, dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread, dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt/corn and moderate earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal fruity/yeasty notes present. Light-moderate increasing bitter/carbonated dryness. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.3%. Overall this is a very good Pre-prohibition lager. All around nice robustness and balance of pale malt/corn and moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Very clean and nicely rich barely/grain flavors, with plenty of earthy hop presence for the style. Not overdone on adjuncts, would have preferred it be a little less hoppy. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

Light yellow color with white cap.
Aroma of mild, somewhat sweetish grain and slightly spicy hops.
Taste is on the mild side but is very clean. It tastes like malt to me though there may be other grains in the mix. Hops are present from start to finish but serve to balance and only show a bit of firm bitterness in the aftertaste.
Light-medium texture with balancing carbonation.
Overall it's a solid beer that's cleanly made without any jagged edges. Similar to AALs but more refined with a noticeable hop presence. A fairly well thought out brew for casual drinking.

Floral aroma, with a hint of corn. Pours a slightly hazy straw, with a thin white head. Starts with a mild malt sweetness, and a very light body. This fades to a touch of floral and earthy hop notes in the finish. Fairly crisp, and very easy drinking. Nothing out of the world, but a solid lager that will be very nice if it sticks around into summer. A perfect lawnmower beer.
