Fresh and creamy, as if from the tap today. A great super-creamy malt with some bitters and dried aftertaste. A bit of citrussy banana fruit and spice but not taking away from its simplicity. A new summer favorite, makes my top 15% of rated beer - LCBO wake up! Perhaps even higher rating if it could have been kept under cooler conditions the whole way, or perhaps not. Thank you Irondjinn for the sample.

Now that's a spicy meatball! Picked up some bottles of this at Sailor Hagar liquor store, they had just got a fresh batch in. Poured from a 650 ml brown bottle, a gorgeous hazy gold, small white head that leaves a ring. Fantastic nose on this wit, sweet and tart from the wheat and yeast, along with some sweet citrus from the orange peel, and some earthy spice from the coriander. For the flavour it's all in the right place, dry grain up front from the wheat, a rounded slap of tartness in the middle, then it sweetens up for a moment, and moves to a dry finish with bitter orange peel on the aftertaste. An underlying note of spice throughout. A light mouthfeel but not watery. This is an ideal session beer for summer, or any time practically. One of the best wits I've tried.
