Available in both the local liquor stores and Sailor Hager's
beer and wine store this 750ml bottle is an example of local
brewpubs taking the chance to bottle their product and compete against the microbrewery only brewers.
The beer looked good with a golden brown colour and a good
solid head that left Brussels lace down the glass. The nose
was hoppy and appetizing which is important in a session
beer such as brown ale. The balance and drinkability was
above average but I would have liked to see more flavour in
the midbody. This was an enjoyable beer that could be tuned
up in the flavour deparment.
