This pours the color of a dark cola. It’s lightly soured with dark cherries on the aroma, and a sharp finish that has lots of dark cherries. I likened it to hearburn in a glass. Botches the landing with a surprisingly drying, chalky finish.

Pours a thin head on a dark brown body.
The aroma is lots of fruit and the inside of a wine barrel.
The taste is tart cherry with a little chocolate, yet wine-like throughout.
The texture is soft with moderate carbonation.
Interesting and not bad.

On tap at Tony's Darts Away in Burbank, CA.
Pours an opaque super dark brown with a foamy dark khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour and tart with malt, fruit, and wood aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour fruit and wood flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.
