Bottled on: ???????
A - Pours a deep cherry color with thin pink lacing and minimal carbonation.
S - Twangy, tart cherry.
T - Follows the nose with tangy, tart, puckering acidic cherry from start to finish.
M - Big medium body that's puckering and leaves a wet finish.
O - Twangy, puckering, and a well hidden ABV. Make sure you have some Pepcid on hand, however, it's right on for the style. Would I buy it again? Nope. (But glad to have tried this.)

12oz bottle. Etched on bottle neck is 'BOTTLED 08-27-21'.
Cloudy, reddish brown colored body. Brief pinkish white fizzy head immediately disappears. No lacing.
Aroma of cherry and funk. The funk is leather and horse blanket.
Taste is a mix of tart, sweet, and funk. Lots of cherry, which is sweet enough. Funk is short lasting, but is leather and tobacco. The tartness is the longest lasting in the taste profile. Some cherry in the aftertaste but the tartness lasts longer.
Medium mouth feel. The tartness is restrained by the sweetness, and does not reach a tooth scraper level. Quiet carbonation. Admirable balance between dry finish and sweet stickiness.
Good palate cleanser. Better when chilled, so that the cherry does not get too sweet. Has aged well, with all aspects still sharply expressing.

Received courtesy of @ovaltine. Pours a dirty, brownish red with minimal head. Aroma is all funky tart cherry. Taste is tart and acidic, but over the top. Nice earthy funk. Faint cherry. Light bodied and fairly easy drinking.

Poured this beer from a bottle into a tulip glass. Reddish brown color with very brief head and no lacing. Intense cherry smell with some funk. The taste follows the smell. Surprisingly potent beer but not at all boozy.

Canus Invertus - Cherry pours a hazy, dark red, no head. Aroma is filled with tart cherries. Flavor is slight tart, but lots of sweet cherry notes. Good body and feel. Overall, a little less tart for a flanders, and sweeter, fruit is there.

Murky amber with off white head. Nose is vinegar, funk, and cherry. Opens with red wine characters with oak, cherry, and cranberry with hints of vinegar and sugar. Body is light to medium with medium carbonation. Ends with a pucker. Overall an interesting sour. Not a traditional Flanders but more American wild with very bold characters and maybe too sour as opposed to balanced subtleties.

Dark reddish orange, thin layer of foam that rises and recedes quickly, no lace. Looks like a red wine in the glass in lower light.
Acidic cherry aroma, some light vinegar sharpness as it warms.
Sharp cherry vinegar, very sour and puckering, nearly brutally so. Dry finish, fleeting cherry taste obliterated by acetic acid. Medium bodied, low carb, acid indigestion. Overall this really doesn’t have the finesse of Flemish Reds, just brutally sour like AWA’s were a decade ago.

I'm not fond of sours; I don't drink them anymore. However I do enjoy Flemish ales and lighter sours. This one advertises as 'slightly tart' but it annihilated my taste buds and produced an epic burn in my abdomen. It is practically undrinkable for me. As others have said it's much more like a wild ale/sour than a Flemish-style.

Taste: super sour, vinegar, tart cherries, big acidic coating on tongue. Cherry liqueur nose. Deep Red/Ruby color hue, clear, white foam head some delicate lace. Medium to med/full body. Sour heads will love this beer, I found too acidic to drink a whole glass. 7 IBUs

Thanks to Ovaltine in NBS BIF #13:, poured into a Surley glass for the same fine gentleman
L: deep brownish to red faint little lacing head faded fast minor haze
S:not a sour bomb faint some deep brown bread like malt, light cherries (blind might not pick up) ends with a light tang
T: just a the right level of sour deep malt notes figs ish
M: full medium carb
O: I really enjoyed this and great sipper, I have bee tasting a bunch of Kriek;s and it was fun to see the Flemish red with cherries and how they compared, this was little more full with a bigger malt back bone and acid to support.
