A Classic American IPA brewed with 2 new hop varieties from Steiner Hops. Lotus and Sultana. Aroma is a blend of tropical fruit (lots of pineapple), citrus, anise, and floral. Body is light on the palate with an intense bitterness that lingers.

Pours a hazy yellow peach color with light tan head with excellent retention. Aroma is a citrus medley. Taste has fruit punch notes up front with hints apricot, peach, pineapple. Lots of hop bitterness, especially on the finish. Comparable to other three Floyds IPAs, but the lotus and sultana hop varieties give this beer a unique flavor. Overall very good.

Excellent IPA sampled on tap at 3 Floyds. Nice slightly darker golden color with a thin cap of white head and small sheets of lingering lacing. Smells nice, pineapple and grapefruit hops, also some light lemon and mango. Malt, vanilla and some stronger herbal hops over the floral hops. Taste follows the nose, really good hoppy bitterness at the finish, crisp and dry and not too much malt. Smooth, slightly sticky mouthfeel and great amount of carbonation. Flavorful and crisp and biting. Excellent.
