Used motor oil black, if slightly more fluid, with oily reddish-brown edges under a slick surface that is quickly revealed after the thin tan blanket recedes to an unevenly thin ring.
Incredibly rich dark fruit, almost as though winter spiced, pairs well with a warming bourbon char while also expressing solid port characteristics. The exhale is almost like flambé with a vanilla spike, while the char just goes for days, like brownie corner extraordinaire...sheesh!
Very different for a Dark Lord variant, it was almost like a delectably rich and deep English barleywine.
