Paris 1/4 2026. 50 cl can from CarreFour, Rue Legraverend, Paris 12e. The can is turquoise at the bottom and off-white at the top with some clouds and a shining sun.
Pours slightly unclear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with alcohol and a bit of citrus. Sweet pale malts and bread. Black pepper and citrus. Metallic alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong tart bitterness. Aftertaste is tartly bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is quite dry.
Tart, dry and a bit soft and flat.

Golden colour, clear. White foam, finely bubbled, creamy in texture, high and persistent. It paints nicely on the glass.
Aroma malty, cereal, slightly cellar-like, earthy and herbal. A hint of yeasty notes in the background.
Taste slightly sweet, contrasted by multiple higher bitterness, with an herbal character. Although the bitterness is pronounced it seems to be acceptable to all. Long, not overpowering.
Saturation medium upwards. Body medium plus. Texture smooth. Aftertaste moderately long, dry.
