Foam spews out of the top after opening. The pour creates a deep and somewhat murky brownish orange colored beer under a mountainous white airy head. The retention is great. Carbonation seems heavy. Then aromas are doughy and yeasty, sweet and candy-like, musty and earthy. This is a nice sniffer. The mouthfeel is very gaseous. Too gaseous. What's up with Cisco? I've had 3 of their beers now and they have all felt shitty in the mouth. Drinking this fills ME with gas and many burps ensue. The taste is very average. And that's being generous. Some grassy and earthy notes are perceptible. Hops leave a little bitterness lingering after the swallow. Some tinny and mettalic notes. Malt is weak and boring. Hmmmm. My opinion of this brewery is not too good at this point.

750ml First pour was a clear light brown, voluminous light tan head that settled into a creamy froth. Pours got gradually more cloudy, but the yeast was packed pretty good. Mild spicy (dominated by white pepper), yeasty, and slightly tart/citric aroma. Dominate theme of the flavor was the pepper spiciness mixed with a hay-like maltiness and refreshing funkiness. Pretty dry and medium to light bodied made it very drinkable. Well done version, interesting spicing.
