From notes 2/5/13: Pours a slightly hazy deep amber with lots of particulates floating and bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass. Produces 1.5 fingers of off-white/light beige, mostly fine but variously bubbled, somewhat lasting head that recedes to a thin layer leaving on tiny motes of lace on the glass. Aroma is earthy, pine and floral hops with hints of citrus and pineapple, grassy and musty; loaded with malty notes of bread, toast, biscuit and caramel. Aroma is a good balance of hops and malt. Taste is fronted by moderately bitter hop notes of orange, grapefruit, grass and a little pin resin backed by malty flavors of biscuit, cracker, sweet caramel and toast. Again excellent balance between the bitter hop and sweet malt profiles. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, smooth, creamy, crisp and dry with moderate carbonation.

Copper body, clear, small white head and only a little lace on the glass. Notes of sweet bread, pepper, flowers and light citrus. Thin feel, lighter carbonation and clean yet uneventful feel. Session ale in abv but not something I want more than 1 of.

Hoppy, with some malt touches and a bit of a bitterness to it that's hard to pin down. I'm not really a fan of it, as it just seems like it's trying too many things, none of which blend at all.

From a mix 6. This was pretty good for a session ale, meaning it has enough hop to be tasty and enough backbone to avoid problems of most session IPAs. The abv is on the high side for that designation. Bottle says 5.5%.

Pours a clear amber, with a frothy white head that dissipated quickly, but left a surface presence.

Grassy hop dominate the nose, with some fruity esters swirling round the sides.

A pleasing medley of hops and malt, the hops have 3 stages of flavor, the malt sort of overlays the experience and ends the experience with a brown bread bitter.

Medium bodied, smooth and drinkable.

A very tasty brew that leans towards IPA but with balanced flavors.
