i like beers like this, super low abv and interesting, and its nice to see them enjoying a resurgence in the present age. this one is tasty, very light and clean in its malt base with a spicy belgian yeast quite similar to their belgian golden ale. this one has so much less body, so much less residual sugar, and a note of sweet lemon in it that i really like. session beers that arent ipa types are hard to find, so i appreciate the stab into this uncommon space. carbonation is awesome on it, and although the hops and grain are fresh, this brew is flavored predominantly by its yeast strain. light banana, ginger, and pie spices all sort of come off to me, but its not overly complex, and in fact is subtle enough to match the rest of the beer. i was glad to have tried this one, and think it would do alright in cans too. we need more beer like this in the market.
