Experienced on-tap at Front Range BBQ in Colorado Springs, CO...
Cloudy, dull brown body; thin head. Mild aroma of figs and dates; a trace of caramel; raisins. Tart, sour flavor; green grapes. Medium-high body; rather thin and somewhat watery; dry, mouth-puckering finish.
A fair, not overly aggressive wild/sour ale. Other than its overall mild tartness, very little else really distinguishes this beer. Lacks distinctive flavors and seems bland and mundane for the style.

A very unique beer. Pours a cloudy red color. Sour notes mixed with a combination of a strong coffee smell and taste and some earthy character. Nicely carbonated. Interesting beer, it just doesn't quite all come together.
