Clear, light brown pour, beer appears brownish-red in the glass; moderate slow-rising carbonation; thick, dense and sudsy head, off-white color with a semi-creamy texture on top; flecks and legs of foam cling to the glass. Excellent aroma; warm malt tones; no real smoke presence. Beautiful taste; rich with earthy sweetness, no cloying sweetness; nutty with a light rye-like spiciness; subliminal smoke whirling in the background. Heavy, oily body; smooth with a light stickiness; excellent all-around warmth.

This beautiful beer combines a rich, alluring Scotch ale with a delicate touch of smokiness.

ABV: 7.4%; pouring temperature: 54.7 °F; crowler date: 9-30-25
