A- Clear dark amber with light white head that clings nicely to the glass while drinking
S- Strong hop aroma, a good bit of citrus character and just the slightest bit of amber malt, very inviting
T- Strong fruity and citrus hop flavors without very much bitterness considering the strength of the hop aromas. The malt backing balances the hop flavors nicely and almost has an amber character to it. The fruitiness is almost tropical at times and the finish is dry with light lingering bitterness
M- Very smooth and lightly carbonated, slightly warming with moderate body, very drinkable
O- This ale is a nice showcase for mosaic hops, with their aroma and flavor taking the center stage throughout with just enough malt backing to be balanced. My favorite aspect was the beautiful aroma that stays with you as you drink. Good enough that I brought a growler home with me.
