Poured into a 10oz (maybe 12?) goblet at Saraveza.
Appearance: Slightly cloudy although one could still see through it; light amber/orange in color; lots of tiny bubbles rising, appears highly carbonated; thin white head (maybe 1/4") that didn't last long
Smell: Light and faint, although smells fruity with a little of both spice and floral. Lovely.
Taste: The first initial taste is somewhat flat - but do not be fooled! The beer opens up considerably into a beautiful, open, fruity, sweet, and light beer with a crisp finish. Very complex mid-flavors, a quick hint of bubblegum that quickly gives way to a mouthful of well-balance apple and spices (clove?). I'd like to emphasize that the fruity spice is not overwhelming but rather very well balanced into a light, carbonated beer. It's pretty fantastic- maybe a new favorite.
Mouthfeel: Although sweet, it is by no means sticky or syrupy. Somewhat thin, juicy, and smooth. There is a definite bite of tang and zest at the back of the tongue that lingers a tiny bit.
Drinkability: Awesome. Fantastic "transition" beer (ie. the transitional seasons of spring and/or autumn). Smooth, sweet, and fruit is very aesthetically pleasing and extremely approachable.

On tap at Hedge House 3.20.2010, $3.25 a pint.
Deep gold body, a bit of haze, good carbonation, decent lacing. The nose is cardamon, pepper, pretty spicy, not much hops. Interesting taste profile, pepper, candied ginger (!), some orange peel, a bit of lemon. Light mouthfeel, dry finish due to use of Belgian yeast. A nice spring quaffer, perfect for sitting outside on a nice day. One of the highlights of the Brewpublic pub crawl. Recommended.
