On tap at Vermont Tap House, Williston, VT. This was poured into a snifter. Here’s the rest. The appearance was a slightly hazy burnt orange color with a thin bar pour’s kind of slim head. Sly thin white lacing. The smell started off with a sweet grassy and subtle refined lemon maltiness to it. Dried peach skin, light floral. Subtle black pepper. The flavor takes and combines nicely. Balanced sweet to spicy aftertaste of the aromatic flavors. Quick sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Breadiness tries to allocate a decent stickiness, but not cloying. Spice tries to ride in underneath. Overall, pretty good saison that I could have again.

On-tap 4/9/2017 at Natty Greene’s Tavern in North Attleboro, MA, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a bright gold color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains wheat, bananas, Belgian yeast and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of wheat, Belgian yeast and a hearty but not too heavy malt character. Then some sweet flavors of bananas, caramel and citrus. The hops presence is very mild but complementary and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Very tasty, goes down quite easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a very solid beer to drink for a long time.

Pale yellow with a greenish hue, definite haze and thin finger of white head -- like a Berliner Weisse with some woodruff added. Dry aroma. Metallic, herbal taste with a flash of malt sweetness beneath that quickly becomes dry in the aftertaste. No real saison yeast character to speak of. Light bodied. My first from Oxbow, and I was disappointed.

From growler filled at Portland tasting room today.
Cloudy blond, small head that dissipates quickly.
Sour earthy lemon spice smell.
Crisp, clean, balanced taste. It's a saison, but nothing overpowers. Slightly sour, slight funk, slight hop aftertaste. An earthy, but not too earthy beer.
Feels medium bodied, substantial but drinkable.
Overall, I'm imagining this will be a very nice warm weather beer.

Half pint on tap at the brewery's Portland tasting room.
Appearance: It's a somewhat hazy yellow with a short crown of white bubbles.
Aroma: Smells of light mustiness and some herbal hops. Also a touch of light fruitiness and grass.
Taste: Follows the nose, with the grassiness and herbal hope right there. Very tasty.
Mouthfeel: Light and easy. Very refreshing.
Overall: Just when you think you've had a bunch of saisons from Oxbow and you might hit a wall, you don't! Very tasty, summery, easy beer with tons of flavor.
