Excellent Saison beer. Pours with good head. Solid combination of brett and bacteria. Tastes of fruit and wheat. Beer is absolutely delicous and well complements the other Oxbow terrific offerings!

dry and limey and subtle, i like the idea of their funky yeast blend without the use of oak barrels as a vector for funk development, this one is done entirely in stainless, which is something i think we will see come back around here before long. i can really appreciate the brett in here, not loaded down with woody tannins and richness, its delicate and even floral to me without its usual counterpart, and in such a simple and light saison base, i think its the perfect beer to do this with! a very mild white wheat and pils base it seems like to me, light in body, clean, dry, simple, perfect to let the yeast elements shine in their full glory. the brett and bacteria are awesome together, while its all pretty delicate, i get some awesome nuance, everything from sliced limes to cut roses and tulips to silver corn, melon, strawberry, and meyer lemon. its refreshing and lightly estery, but effervescent and dry in feel, and gone on the swallow. summery feeling to me, a little fruity hop note in here too, more of a drink fresh kind of beer i would think than something for the cellar, this already seems mature and well evolved to me. a nice showcase of their house yeast without much distraction. mild compared to some of their others, but another high end and delicious beer from oxbow! its their saison types that i love the most!

A sour saison through and through, definitely an example for the sour take on the saison. The taste is well rounded, with a good balance of yeast and tart with the patented oak sour on the finish. Smell, feel and look all come across very nicely, while still be prototypical for the style

Here's a Sour's sour, but the nose is mild. Should you seek out a lip-puckering sour ale, this will fit your needs. The body is predictable with a higher than average carbonation level. The aftertaste is tart but predictable.
