Barrel-Aged Pagan Promise is a mixed-fermentation farmhouse ale brewed with 100% Maine-grown grains and locally-foraged sumac, bog myrtle and mugwort. Produced in collaboration with Labietis Brewery of Riga, Latvia.

Bottle from Blending and Bottling in Portland. A gusher that pours an opaque tan straw yellow with a flash of bubbly head that disappears immediately, smell is lemon-lime candy, cranberry, apricot, peach skin, spicy herbaceous-ness, hints of bayberry, taste is very tart apple cider and lime, white grape skin, hints of spruce tips and a mild wintergreen/mint/spiced herbaceous twang, feel is light, very effervescent, and dry, incredibly tart, but surprisingly not acidic. A mystical elixir, I feel like it should mist or smoke and was brewed in a cauldron by the three sisters while they sang: Double, double toil and trouble;
