Pint on draft in a glass tankard at the brewery.

Appearance: Looks like a beer ass beer. Clear gold/orange with a soft, short white head that recedes quickly. Better than average carbonation.

Aroma: Clean, crisp, grassy, fresh. Fairly light but definitely appealing.

Taste: A little lemon, a little biscuit, some herbaceous character. Very tasty and easy. Tastes like a really good straight up lager. I guess that’s the idea.

Mouthfeel: Light and easy. Crushable.

Overall: Terrific old fashioned, ice cold lager. Definitely need some bottles of this.

I had this on draft 9/21/23 @ the Beer Temple.

Semi-opaque dull orange appearance.

Big bright white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lacing remained.

Lemon, honey & orange peel notes in the nose.

Medium thin mouthfeel with a sharp carbonation bite.

Pine, mild lemon & faint honey flavors.

A bit sharper than I expected; I like the nose more than the flavors. Still, it's quite drinkable.

12 oz can...10-18-21 dating on the bottom

Pours medium honey amber, with about a medium haze level...loose bubble mini cap, and some spotty lacing.

MIld malty/whole wheat bread sniff...

Nothing overly special going on here, more malt and bread notes, smooth and decent enough.

Amber bubbly body with a white head, little retention. Graham cracker, cereal malt, lemon peel, and grassy hops in the nose. Taste is simple: dough, malt, lemon zest and a kiss of grassy hops, very mellow. Despite appearances it is actually pretty flat, very smooth and malty with a hint of ester softness, kind of bland.

Picked up a fresh can (1/22/21) at Astoria Bier & Cheese. Clean barley upfront. Mike sweetness and a very subtle herbal citrus hops finish. Fairly dry and on the acidic side to make it quite drinkable. Nothing big out flashy, but expertly made and crushable.

Light honey amber body; extremely fine and beautiful looking carbonation rising; thick and frothy off-white head. Sweet caramel along with stone fruit smells. Very mild cereal grain taste with a light hop bitterness. Medium-light in body; soft; mild warmth and residual sugar presence; semi-dry.

For a low ABV beer, this one delivers some pleasing things to the palate. The initial smell, to me, had strong notes of peach and strawberries(!) that seemed odd and out of place for a basic lager, but that quickly faded away as the beer settled. Well-rounded overall and pleasant to drink.

Can. CLear gold with ring and island. Very mild grassy grainy aroma. Medium grainy bready sweetness and not much else. They really managed to make sure almost no flavor went into this while still retaining a medium-light body.
