Picked up a single from the Blue Door Bottleshop in Hendersonville 9-1-22. Canned 5-18-22; consumed 12-27-22.
Beer poured golden with a beautiful white head with the original pour.
Nose has hints of horse blanket and fresh herbal hops.
Taste is a light pilsner base with some barnyard and horse blanket traits imparted by the yeast strain. Hops are herbal and come across bitter and unbalanced.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and very refreshing.
Overall a solid beer.

Can from the B&B in Portland. Pours a lightly hazy straw yellow with a finger of rocky white head that sticks around, decent lacing, smell is doughy wheat bread, whole wheat biscuits, spicy funky grass, hints of citrus and clove, taste follows the nose with sweet and sour doughy wheat bread, herbal hops and hints of tea on the finish, feel is light, medium carbonation and carbonic bite. Hoppy Leffe vibes.

12oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $3.50. Canned on 04/27/21, making this just over 2 months old. The can says to enjoy within 1 year. Actual consumption date was 6/30/2021, review posted from notes.
Look: Pours a murky light orange color. No head retention. Lots of effervescent bubbles rising up.
Smell: Lots of Belgian yeast character - spicy hops, pepper, clove, coriander perhaps?. Nostril-tickling acidity and a bit of floral and fruity notes. A bit funky and medicinal. Interesting nose.
Taste: Tasty. Initially, it tastes a bit like a Belgian witbier but much hoppier. Up front it's light-bodied with gentle acidity. Nice notes of melon (watermelon) and mint. The finish is very yeasty, very dry, and spicy. For me, it's a bit too spicy and I would appreciate the dryness more if the beer had more acidity.
Feel: Decent mouthfeel. Medium bodied with appropriate carbonation.
Overall: I wonder if I would have enjoyed this more if I held off on adding the sediment, which changed the appearance of the beer significantly. Usually, I hold off but for the Saison style it often seems that without the sediment the beer is missing something. If I try this again, I would hold off on adding the sediment.
