Pours golden orange and quite hazy (SRM 5-7). The head was short for this world, after gushing out during the pour, momentarily reaching 2" then poof it was a thin blanket. A thin ring of lace marks the high point and spots of lace bear witness to the moment of greatness. Yeast sediment gathers at the bottom of the Offero oversized wine glass.

Sour lemon and sage dominate over a mild wet socks lingering in the background. Cardamum comes out with warmth.

The flavor is less sour than anticipated, with slight bitterness followed by light sweetness. It is a bit grassy with lemon, also less than the aroma had suggested it might be. Light acidity lingers in the herbal finish. Citrus come out as it warms, bringing significant improvement.

The body is light, actually quite thin after the first few sips, and there is no real sense of texture. Carbonation has essentially off-gassed during the pour, leaving a light bristle in its wake. Alcohol is well below the labeled 5%, almost imperceptible. It is very dry.

I'm enjoying this on a cold Spring afternoon, after some yard clen-up, and it is just the right choice. I imagine it would pair well with cold shrimp and horseradish or cold scallops and mustard.

Pours a bright yellow hazy. Lemon on the nose. It's mostly sweet Meyer lemon with some herbal character - I get heather. It's a really nice drinker that's not at all acidic. Pleasant, well composed.
