Can from Bird Girl; canned 7/9/25. Refrigerated.
Drank at 50 degrees.Disappointing ho and yeast profile. Almost dirty earthy taste. Little yeast aroma. Malt seemed almost corn like. Medicinal notes.
Chilled a bit for second half and taste was a bit better with some floral and less earthy. Nose diminished; not unexpectedly.
Average look and body. Otherwise unremarkable.
Overall, perhaps a bad can or travelled poorly. Despite refrigeration at store and home…it is almost 8 months old with a can message “encouragement” to drink within 1 year…
But hopefully this doesn’t represent the brewing or selection of ingredients. Maine grown never seemed like a questionable idea until now.

Hazy light gold with a white head that leaves great lacing. Soapy, floral aroma. The same elements carry to the taste with light fruit in the background and strong earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with zippy carbonation. It grew on me.

Can. Golden straw with fluffy head that lasts a while despite loud pour. Classic lemon grass pepper vanilla aroma. Light fruity apricot sweetness with fairly assertive spicy peppery lemon finish that dries but does not overstay its welcome. Light body, lively but not fizzy. Excellent.

092221 bottle from Blending and Bottling in Portland, ME. Pours a cloudy dark gold/light amber with a finger of foamy white head that sticks around, decent lacing; smell is doughy brioche, clove, phenols, funky cut grass; taste follows with brioche, clove, phenols, fairly bitter and funky grassy hops; feel is light, creamy carbonation, semi-dry. An excellent doughy, funky, bitter treat.
