Can into Nucleated Tulip

Look: Hazy orange body, pouring a creamy 1 finger head which quickly dissipated into a thin cap which persisted. Nice lacing

Smell: Yeasty with a touch of hay, tart lemon, floral roses and hibiscus, and a underpinning of orange zest. Medium strength

Taste: Lightly tart doughy malt, lemon, yeasty funk. Swallow brings the strong rose and hibiscus, some spiciness too, and a touch of sweet orange zest. Lingering notes of rose, yeast funk and a bitter orange peel as it dries out

Feel: Light body, crisp, moderate- gentle carbonation

Overall: A good brew, complex flavor evolution, Hits most, if not all of the saison check boxes

Poured from a can into a tulip glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazed golden-orange color with a small head of fizzy white foam. The head fades quite quickly leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a hibiscus and funky smell mixed with a good showing of hay and straw. Along with these smells comes notes of bread and grain with a bit of yeast and rose. There is also a hint of a light orange smell along with a touch of smoke.
Taste – The taste begins with a crisp light grain and bready taste mixed with a good showing of funk and some yeast. The hibiscus is rather potent as well, getting stronger as the taste advances, being joined by some hay and a hint of orange sweetness. There is a touch of rose and some light lemon which remain rather constant throughout. As the taste advances the orange sweetness fades, taking on a more peel like flavor. A bit of pepper and some more funk and hay come to the tongue at the end, leaving one with a somewhat drier and moderately flowery funked taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a moderate to slightly lower carbonation level. For the style, a bit more carbonation level may have been better, but overall, the feel was pretty decent.
Overall – A rather nice flowery and spiced farmhouse. Would do again.
