Collaboration with Bluejacket, served in a plastic cup at a beer fest. Beer is yellow, hazy, white head, small bubbles. Minimal lacing, some carbonation. Looks good.
Aroma is grainy and sweet with some mild esters.
Beer is nice, wet, floral and yeasty. The breadiness is a bit much but it is a nice saison never-the-less. I enjoyed it and would have it again.

A collaboration brew with Bluejacket DC. Poured into a tulip glass at Smoke & Barrel. Listed as a saison. From notes.
A very pale lemon body, kind of cloudy and unfiltered looking with not much rising carbonation. Creamy white top for a head settles slowly to a nice puck.
An extremely unique bouquet on this beer. A giant strong whiff of peanut butter. Creamy, mixes of almond and sweet classic Belgian like candy. It's like a toned down resses pieces or something. Some mild lemon creeps out a bit, really unique, very unusual and real tasty smelling!
Taste has a real nice crisp quality to it, almost like a pilsner. Good rolling sweet malts with an almost tripel like quality. Some surprising carbonation, which works well in the palate. Palate brings all from the nose. Chewy peanut butter and sweet almost toffee rich. Creamed nut also.
Overall a very memorable brew could easily have more. Beer feels way bigger than the 4% which makes it even more enjoyable.
