on tap @ east ender
The beer pours a clear golden yellow with a fluffy white head. There is very little lacing, head retention, and it eventually dissipates to a thin halo around the perimeter. The nose has a honey sweetness with a touch of hoppy spice - notes of wintergreen, pine, and bubble gum. The taste brings everything together with an initial fruity yeast sweetness followed by a semi-dry lingering bitterness. the mouthfeel is light-medium bodied, well attenuated, slightly bitter, drinkable, and balanced. I'm impressed with this beer, as I have been with most Oxbow beers. It's certainly a great beer/meal accompaniment if you're in town to try it.

On tap at Churchkey this evening. Served in a snifter. Pours a moderately-hazy golden-straw color with a nice white head. Good retention and lacing.
The nose is fairly tame with some floral and earthy hops plus a bit of straw and grain. Flavor is light and dry with some backing grain. There are some floral and earth notes in the background, plus a very light acidity. A bit grainy in the finish.
Overall, very crisp and easy to drink. Another very good brew from Oxbow.
