Copenhagen 27/5 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A hoppy Skull gnawing a bone on the green can.

Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of stone fruit mingling with a mild citric scent. Peach and apricot. Citrus and lemon. Pleasant and civilized.

Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, gently tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.

Pleasant and rich but not without bitter bite.

Purchased from First Choice Liquor in Waurn Ponds in December 2023 and drunk the next day.

L: Light, hazy, pineapple-juice yellow, with a rocky, white head. Lots of fast-moving, small-bubbled carbonation in the glass.

S: Pineapple and nectarine above a generally fruity background on the nose.

T: This is an older can, so the bitterness has likely increased since packaging and the light pineapple and fruity notes that I can taste have probably faded significantly from what they were, but it's still a tasty and fruity beer.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth, and carbonation is low, but all is appropriate for the taste profile. There's a slight chalky numbness to my mouth after each swallow, but I suspect that's a result of the hops and beer interacting in the can for so long.

O: Considering the age of the can, this is surprisingly good.

Cheers!

From Decervecitas. In Teku glass. At lunch, with rice with meat. Superb and fresh tropical fruits juice, pineapple-like. Smooth and full body for such abv. Enjoyable from beginning and end. Crushable

First beer for me from this brewery.

Pours a hazy light yellow with fine dense foam.

Smell is very tropical with a hint of fruity tartness from pineapple and mango.

Taste is juicy and very refreshing with oodles of citrus and pineapple.

Mouthfeel is slightly thin, but well carbonated.

Overall, a terrific sessionable NE IPA, very drinkable and full of juicy goodness!
