En copa Teku. Jugando a Ori and the Blind Forest. Perfil muy intenso a rico cafe. Alcohol tremendamente bien oculto, incitando a beberla con mayor ligereza de lo prudencial. Deja con ganas

33cl can.
Orange-amber, soapy, not too strong foam.
Aroma is mostly tonka beans with a bit of coffee. I.e. tartish, spicy, raw charcoal notes. The brewery claims the beer is supposed to surprise the drinker. In 1976, maybe. One of the most tiresome things is the idea of fermenting with anything related to other drinks and calling it innovation. Very one-dimensional nose. I really would not bet on aromas like this to replace a combination of malt, hops and yeast.
Taste is so full of lactose your teeth drip with it for minutes. More raw bean flavours, vanilla comes to the fore with cocoa. But the dominating taste is sugar and tonka beans. And that's all she wrote.
Overall, a thoroughly pointless exercise. There are plenty of classic beers that have subtle and surprising flavours. This has nothing going. From the first whiff you have already had it all laid out. Maybe calling this a white stout is supposed to throw us off somehow? There is nothing stout or white about this. You might as well call a real beer something else. Irritatingly weak in thought.

Served in a red wine glass from the can.
Appearance: Not your typical stout color, dark semi hazy amber color. It is somewhat transparent with medium bubbles creating
an off white head rising half an inch.
Smell: coffee and mocha aroma, coming off sweet consisting of warm brown sugar.
Taste: Sweet coffee with dieses of cream and milk chocolate. A touch sweet than what I'm used to but I can deal.
Mouth: Sticky feel with medium bubbles and a Full body. Coffee and cream to put you to sleep.
Overall: Strong beer and definitely a keeper. Would love to have avain and again but don't know if I will ever see it. Always in a glass...Salud.
