Copenhagen 30/12 2021. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Close up of Santas mild face where I can see Superman dragging his cane across the sky.
Pours opaque dark brown with a light beige and a bit bubbly head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a pastry sweet odor mingling with cocoa. Brown sugar, vanilla, coconut. Milk chocolate and caramel. Sweetened cocoa.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is a bit thin with a lurking bitterness. Lingers shortly. Finish is sweet coconut..
Fairly light and sweet. Like a Milk Stout infused with coconut and vanilla.

330 ml can, as Amundsen Super Santa Choco Shake Stout, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.7%. Black colour, moderate beige head, Sweetish aroma of vanilla, chocolate, cinnamon and lactose. The flavour is not as sweet as the aroma made me fear, but has otherwise the same elements as the aroma. Moderate hops in the finish.

De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Jugando con Asun hija a The World Next Door. Pastry stout con notas cafetosas y un bajo abv que, sin dejarla aguada, lo cierto es que hace que pase más desapercibida y se le eche en falta intensidad

L- Superficially black but held to a halogen it is in fact veeery dark ruby red. Pours clear and with a 3mm mid-tan head.
S- Wow cocoa-loco! Somewhere between (cold) hot chocolate and chocolate milk.
T- The mega chocolate aspect as per the smell^. It then has a pretty roasty-toasty brief mid-phase, mild hint of coffee, and into a dry finish.
F- It's a milk stout I think (well, it contains lactose) . That often suggests outright sweet/richness to me but this isn't like that. It has brief hints of rich but hasn't the ABV% to amplify and convey it.
O- Enjoyable and I'd be happy to drink again.
330ml can BB: 22/09/21 Bought from TremblingMadness/York £3.60
The can lists ingredients including 'aroma' - no idea what that might be. It isn't mentioned on the brewery website where the malts used are listed as 'Pilsner, Caraaroma, Carafoam, Caraamber, Caramunich I, Carafa Special I, Carared, Chocolate'.
