Copenhagen 25/4 2019. 44 cl can from Voldby Købmandsgård (web-shop). Drawing of heroic surfer moving in dire waters including a Tsunami, lightening and sharks on the can.
Pours hazy, milky, golden yellow with small white head. Bubbly. Settles as scattered remnants of thin foam. Looks a bit like Orange juice. No lacing.
Aroma is intense, fermented and fruity. Decaying exotic fruits like mango and papaya. Lighter citric notes. Strong alcoholic presence.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick yet lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by and balanced by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a lighter underlying sweetness. Lingering. Light alcoholic burn.
Nice, fruity bowl with a bitter twist.

Pours a hazy orange with fine head.
Smell is juicy with notes of mango, oranges and passionfruit.
Taste is juicy with a nice, sturdy bitterness. Notes of mango, oranges, grapefruit and ahint of pine and honey. Pretty strong hop burn and a bit mineral on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a nice DIPA, with a little bit too much burn for me.
