Copenhagen 27/1 2024. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Can in Amundsen's usual Dessert-design with letters squirting chocolate sauce and all kinds of sweets. In brown and green.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. Stable. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, cake-like, sugary odor mingling with a light whiff of salty chocolate. Brown sugar, salted caramel and toffee, chocolate cake.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, creamy, soft, smooth, viscous, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a light saltiness. Aftertaste is sugary sweet. Lingering. Finish is sweet and semi-dry.
Like the name suggest: A sweet, sugary brew where the salty streak provides a bit of relief.

I have really loves the other beers from this series, but this one I do not like. The smell and taste is just overpowered by a smell and taste of butter. The feel is also too buttery.

This installment of their dessert in a can series does not do it for me. Already in the nose I am not as impressed as I have been by others, but in particular the taste is a disappointment. The salinity does not tie in as it was probably intended. I do like my bar of chocolate with caramel and sea salt but in this stout I did not like it

De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Viendo Sex Education 1x04. Riquisimo perfil de reposteria con el alcohol muy bien integrado. De esas birras que intenta uno beberse muy lentamente para que no se acabe
