Copenhagen 24/10 2019. 44 cl can from Meny, Gymnasievej, Køge. Drawing of a charging Owl with three eyes on the can.
Pours hazy, milky yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as flimsy, thin puddles of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is intense, very sweet, candy-like and sugary. Light citric notes rummaging in the background.Strong odor of sugar-glazed Peach and Mango. Vanilla. Lactose-sweet. The citric bitterness does not penetrate the sweetness but must play a more subdued role.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, smooth, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is heavy sweet followed by medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish but soon taken over by a rough bitterness. Lingering.
Quite aggressive on the Lactose, Peach and Vanilla sweetness - but with some balance from the rough bitterness. An acquired taste.
