Copenhagen 20/9 2020. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Drawing of Mexican-style skull surrounded by geometric shapes in black, silver and gold.
Pours opaque dark brown with a slowly coagulating, big, beige head. Settles as thin, flimsy patch of foam unable to cover much of anything. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet pastry, cake-like odor in front. Heavy chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla and brown sugar. A coffee-like bitterness lurking in the background.
Light carbonation. Thick, creamy, viscous, fat texture.
Flavor is intense with a very strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet - bordering on being sugary. Lingering. Finish is sweet and laced in alcohol.
Quite the cake bomb. I can surely understand why the skull on the can have issues with his dental hygiene.
