Copenhagen 14/10 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A red and purple whirlpool of tropical fruits on the can.
Pours opaque strong red with a mid-sized pink-tinged head. Bubbly. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sugary sweet odor of berry-jam and tropical fruits mingling with a light whiff of citrus fruit. Raspberries and strawberries. White sugar. A bit of banana and peach. Citrus.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, slightly viscous, soft, smooth texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a lighter tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a sour undertone. Semi-dry finish.
A fine and fairly intense interpretation of a sweet smoothie which gets the texture quite right.
