Visited the brewpub on 26SEP15. Had a 0.5l glass with lunch, for €2.60.
Poured in a standard Becher glass, it was a lovely, clear copper color. Was topped by a frothy beige head which just sat there, mousse-like, at 1/4". Had minimal carbo but decent lacing. Nose was of toasty caramel and some grassyness. Was very smooth on the tongue, with nary a prickle to be found, and had a near-medium body.
Tasted a touch bready, somewhat like cookie dough. Then throw in a touch of light caramel for some sweetness. Following that it had a hint of a butterscotch aspect; unexpected but not off-putting. Finish was made up of some florality. Not bad.... Might have had another but time did not permit..... Prosit!!
