Dark bronze pours, one finger light beige bubbly head, nice retention.
Toned down smell of caramel malts, grains, English hops.
Mainly malty taste, with toast, caramel, bit of red apple and lemon in there too. Dry leafy hops in the finish, tobacco feel.
Low carbonation, also a bit watery too. Body is too thin to enrich the malts, and the hops seem to just ... float around without a purpose.
Pretty bland and unbalanced, not a horrible effort, but not a great beer either.

Dark red color, one finger of an off white foam. English.
Quite neutral smell, light. Some malt and hop, but very light.
Almost the same for the taste, some more maltiness, but nothing more.
Correct, but a bit banal and not too interesting.
And not really drinkable too, for a maltiness and body not balanced by some hop.
