Pours opaque, jet black in color with one inch head. Taste is cinnamon roll, coconut, and light chocolate. Heavy bodied, sweet with low carbonation. This one captures the cinnamon roll perfectly, complete with the bun which is not always the case with cinnamon roll beers. Would certainly get this again.

I've had a slew of mediocre beers today, and I'm sure this will break the curse.
Pours a tan colored frothy bubbly 1/2 finger head with moderate retention and fair soapy lacing, decent legs, pitch black color no light coming through
Nose oooh that's interesting, cinnamon roll, baking spice and cinnamon there with some vanilla cream icing, a bit of dark fruit almost raisin paste like, a bit of cocoa, some roast notes, light sweet bourbon, and toasted oak notes also light, more various baking spices from the barrel and roast going with teh cinnamon
Taste brings more cinnamon roll, and cinnamon raisin toast with the dark fruit in there, again creamy vanilla icing as well, creamy vanilla icing that seems like lactose but isn't, dark roasty malts with some cocoa and a little coffee with the roast, more baking spices to add to the cinnamon from roast and barrel, light vanilla barrel and just a touch of sweet bourbon, med bitterness from the roast and mild spicy hop notes, drier but mild sticky finish, a little bit of smooth alcohol coming through with lingering bitterness, and more cinnamon
Mouth is fuller bod, rich, a bit creamy, med fizzy carb, just a hint of alcohol
Overall a pretty good beer, plenty of the base porter still there with a nice cinnamon roll added to it, and even cinnamon raisin bread, without the overly spicy cinnamon, and nice baking spices as well, vanilla was smooth and added nicely, I do wish the bourbon came through more
