It's a excellent tart beer, flavorful and not too thin or heavy. The cherry flavor is real juice, and works well with the alcohol.
Overall, it is a tasty autumn and cool-weather beer.

Nobody I traduction to a fruit beer. Not too sour, pretty clear. Overall a good one.

Poured from the 12 o.z. can into the standard American pint
A: Kinda deep gold with some chill haze. Initial small white head dissipates to a .25 mm collar, no islands of lacing. Very sprightly active carbonation rising from bottom even at half glass.
S: Some of the tart cherry undercurrent and some neutral phenolic and hydrocarbon type resinous smells.
T: There's the tart cherry. Comes through like a moderately fruited Ale and does not skimp nor overpower on the fruit.
M: The carbo and the tart cherry keep things light. Tartness lingers for a very long time once it reaches cave temps mid-beer. That tartness hangs on and helps keep the finish dryer than the base beer probably would be.
O: Solid fruited Ale. Have a 6 pack, will probably crush 3 with my acquiantence Ray having 1 too. Not something I'd reach for every time, kinda like Troegs Boysenberry, it scratches a light sour ale itch and delivers.
