Reviewed from session notes.

A. Opaquely clouded dirty brownish-orange color with a single finger of soapy head that has minimal lacing.

S. Tangy raspberry aroma with a sort of walnut nutty aroma and a faint whiff of honeyed malt sweetness.

T. It has a bright kolsch kind of light flavor spectrum underneath a very dry raspberry essence. The finish turns dry and somewhat vinous like a white wine in character.

M. Somewhat undercarbonated for my tastes but at least the lighter body is nice.

First of a mix six that I bought at the brewery last week. Poured chilled into a Perfect Pint.

A=Very intriguing--a murky light gold with a hint of white and...pink? More opaque than transparent. The pint glass shows three distinct colors. Faint head at pour.

S=Interestingly, one can just slightly smell the honey but not the raspberries...well, second whiff, I smelled the raspberries.

T=Not as much raspberry flavor as I had anticipated...taste reminds me more of a weiss for summer, with a sweetness and lightness in body. A certain amount of sourness as well. Thinking this might go well with barbecue chicken as a lighter compliment on a hot, summer evening.

M=A bit more watery than I anticipated...very little carbonation, too. Took a few sips to get used to, but light enough in body and carbonation to be a session beer during the summer.

O=Lightness reminded me more of a weiss or pilsner than an ale...I probably would not go out of my way to purchase this again, but would drink it again, during the summer...more of a summer beer.
