2012 vintage
No head. Color is a ruby hued caramel copper brown.
Flavor profile: toffee and caramel is huge in this beer. Raisins, dark cherries, molasses, and tobacco. A little bit of chocolate. Plums. Vanilla. There is a fair amount of alcohol in this beer. The bourbon shows a lot with a decent amount of oak.
Mouthfeel: very warming with some sweetness. Full bodied. Ends a little dry with some heat.
Overall, a solid beer with a lot of great flavors. Only downside is that it is still hot after 2 years.
