I hope this "experimental" beer becomes a regular thing! The first Twin Cities IPA I've had that rivals Todd the Axe Man.
Had on tap at the brewery. Poured hazy, golden. Went down just thick enough to be smooth without feeling heavy. Superbly balanced and crisp, citrus being the most prominent flavor followed by a pleasant piney-ness and some floral notes. Hoppy, but not dank; very little sweetness or malt. In short, a perfect high ABV beer for the summer.
