Pours a golden mostly clear color. Smell is fruity citrus hops some pine Taste is citrus with grapefruit and pine resin. A waterbed down but flavorful tasted more like a session than an IPA.

S: Has a citrus, melon, and tropical fruit aroma with light alcohol. Hop aromas rule but get some support from the malt.
L: Drops brilliant gold under a massive 3” off-white cap with good retention, good lace,
T: Rich hoppy fruit flavors lead with some berry and tropical fruit up front and more of the pine and resin come in at the back.
F: The beer has medium body, medium carbonation.
O: This beer is all about the hops and they are big and done well – everything supports the hops and nothing gets in the way.

New DDH IPA from one of my favorite Twin Cities breweries.
Pours a medium golden color, with about an inch of short-lived head. Orange peel notes on the nose, tropical flavors (pineapple and mango?) on the palette. Surprisingly easy-drinking; a little lighter than I expected, but not in a bad way. Well balanced between juicy hoppiness and bready malts. I'm glad I bought more than one, and I wish they'd make it year-round.

Always happy to try a new Steel Toe beer. 22 oz. bottle split with my wife.
The pour is classic 2009 IPA, perfectly see-through gold. The nose is nice, a fruitiness that seems to drift around & I can’t pin down to a specific fruit. Max12: reviewer extraordinaire.
Turn-Key is juicy without the haze. Dwarf peach & mango wrestle for top billing, mid-palate brings a distinct shot of Hawaiian Bread, with a finish of soft bitterness & a little Louisiana loam. Dry. Very dry. Nice & easy to drink for a palate growing used to double IPAs & quintuple stouts.
This is like watching an episode of Two and a Half Men for the ninth time: good, solid, entertaining, but if you’ve seen it in the past six months, pass. Good beer.

Looks good and has nice malt flavor, I am just not crazy about the hops that were used. Also has some bitterness which is nice. Solid body and carbonation.
